I've had this card floating around in my head for a few weeks.  Finally sat down to put it to paper :)  Lucky me it qualifies for this month's OWH ODBD challenge to use THREE patterned papers on a card.  (I actually used 4 patterned papers).  Thanks for looking!

OWH - Veteran's Day Blog Hop!

Welcome to my very neglected blog....

Even though the calendar says November, at Operation Write Home it's time to celebrate Valentine's Day!  Because of the time it takes for packages to reach the soldiers, it is important that the card makers stay ahead of the holidays.  The due date for Valentine's Day cards is January 7th.

Here is a Valentine's Day card I made using a stamp from Outlines.  I really like the style of their stamps.  It was an Outlines stamp that started by addiction to stamping.

It was stamped with CTMH black ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  Colored with Copic Spica markers and paper pieced:

Have your heard that OWH is one the finalists in Joann's Craft for a Cause and we need your vote to win first prize??  Simply click here and vote once a day (voting ends on December 4th).

Leave a comment for a chance to win this stamp set:

I will be choosing the winner on Sunday evening (November 14th) using Random.Org. Please make sure to include contact information in your comment. Good Luck!!!

Next stop is Sharon.... you will be amazed by her beautiful creation!

Thanks for hopping by!
